Well we made it to San Antonio. Much better here than West Texas! We are staying at a beautiful RV resort called The Blaze Luxury RV Resort. It is a very nice park. Just on the outskirts of San Antonio. From here we plan to explore the greater San Antonio sites and eateries.

Made it down to the Riverwalk today. Very cool place but very crowded due to the NCAA tournament being in town. Lots of great bars and resturants. The Alamo is close by as well so we also wandered over there. Very cool! The story of the Alamo is incredible. A 13 day siege were fewer than 100 Texan’s fought 1,500 Mexican troops.

Missy wanted to go to the Botanical Garden so we headed over there after the Riverwalk and the Alamo. It was surprisingly cool! Great plants and scenery! It would be a great place to take the Grand Kids. It is very interactive and has a small artificial stream that the kids can play in. It very relaxing walking through all the different plant and structures.

Tomorrow we are off to Lockhart Texas and Smitty’s BBQ. We found the place when we were in Austin a couple years ago. Great BBQ!

RV Park: The Blaze Luxury RV Resort

Rating: 4 Stars

Review: Nice Park all around. A little larger than I would like but has grass, trees, and concrete pads all are essential elements of a good park. Would stay here again.
