Made it Mobile to wait out a spring storm. We took advantage of the nice morning and mid-day weather to visit historic Mobile. The old downtown area is pretty cool with resturants, parks, and shops. Had a great lunch and did some shopping.

After visiting the old historic district we made it over to Meat Boss for dinner. Local BBQ place with long lines. Not quit as long as Little Miss BBQ is Phoenix but still a wait.

We then went and looked at some perspective homes in the area. The area west of Mobile is absolutely gorgeous. Rolling green hills, mature trees, rivers, lakes, and ponds. Homes are very reasonably priced with most being under $300K. Could almost see myself living here.

Restaurant and RV Park Reviews

Resturants: TP Crockmiers – Mobile, Alabama

Review:  Nice place in historic district of Mobile. Pretty darn good New Orleans style BBQ shrimp with French bread for dipping. Not bad since I didn’t get a chance to have BBQ shrimp in New Orleans. If you have never had this style of shrimp it is not like it sounds. It is shrimp in a spicy butter sauce delicious. Missy had a great Cobb Salad.

Review: Great BBQ place. Had to be great no beer sales, sweet tea and soda only. Pulled pork was tremendous! Missy loved her pulled pork wrap as well. Mac & Cheese and baked beans were great as well!

RV Park: All About Relaxing – Theodore, Alabama
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: Very nice park. Small (41 spaces) park but beautifully maintained. Grass, large trees, and concrete all essential to a great park. Owners are so nice and Bill a Work Camper from the area are great. If we come back through here we will definitely stay again.
